Community Driven Placemaking This project brought students from many discplines together to engage an Eastern Washington Latino community in revitalizing a neighborhod park. We designed a master plan for the park, organized several fiestas and workdays, constructed a large dragon from straw-bale, and installed new playground equipment. This project is featured on the Housing of Urban Development's website. 1. In this photo Clayton Beaudoin presents our master plan for the park to communiy members during a community fiesta.
